The Chicago Gay Men's Chorus' lauded 2001 holiday release, Cool Yule, gets its long-awaited MP3 release to mark the close of CGMC's 30th Anniversary celebration. This collection of mostly lesser known jazz and early pop Christmas classics (with a few contemporary surprises) features tight harmonies, brassy arrangements and that special CGMC ebullient sound. Songs first made famous by such diverse artists as The Four Freshmen, the Andrews Sisters and Bing Crosby are given a contemporary flair by Chicago's Most Colorful Chorus.
