This is my sincere homage to Astor Piazzolla in celebration of his anniversary – 1921-2011- Piazzolla brought new life and speech to Tango music. His New Tango – revolutionary and passionate- recreated this genre for new generations and opened windows for it, all over the world. His music, as no other else, takes us to places surrounded by the sounds and images of Buenos Aires. His music is Buenos Aires. Piazzolla’s legacy goes beyond the limits of Tango frames, creating bridges among styles, musicians and audiences.
