He effortlessly flows in and out grooves and samples, and as for the lyrical subject matter, it’s just as eclectic. From serious story songs to witty reference-filled party jams, Real doesn’t get caught up on one subject. It’s when he gets personal, though, that he really shines. When rapping about his personal struggles and dreams, the passion and intensity live up to his moniker. As for the live show, it’s an intense affair that could hold its own against any local MC.

Straight from the 805, Riley Real has been a fixture in the local music scene for over 10 years. As well as being a performer, Real is also an event promoter, coordinator and voice for the local hip-hop scene, working with numerous artists, musicians, promoters, DJ’s and venues though out Southern California.
