Recorded in the winter of 2008-2009 on Little Diomede Island. Bringing the fireball sound from Fairbanks out into the middle of the Bering Strait and burying it deep in the frozen earth to ferment with the walrus flipper. A few outside voices trickled in by way of electronic connections with the rest of the world. A few songs were recorded on quick escapes from the confines of the island.
