Whether it is telling the story about a man whose wife leaves him and the struggles he faces with losing his family in “A Woman Saying Goodbye”, or the man that left his family behind in search of something better, only to realize that the best he will ever hope for is what he just left behind in “I Don’t Live There Anymore”. These songs are sure to relate to some but be felt by all. Throughout the album you will notice family is a reoccurring theme. Two of the most heartfelt songs in this collection are “Simple Times” and “You don’t have to Rush Off”. Anyone that has ever felt the pain of losing a parent is sure to become teary eyed listening to these two songs. These songs capture the raw emotions that range from emotional pain to the chronic desire to go back in time and be with loved ones.
