A much-loved rock band from Lahinch, Stylin will be familiar to anyone who spent time in Lahinch during the late 90s. Their gigs in O'Looneys bar, looking over the sea on long summer evenings, are the stuff of local legend. A packed, smokey, sweatey room with people swinging from the rafters, dancing where they could and drinking for glory...that was a Stylin gig!!! If you can remember this song from those gigs, you probably weren't really there (only joking!). Shine was a huge live hit for the band, and was usually the show-closer, when the mob would chant for more! Here is a cracking version that the band recorded in a session at the now defunct Xeric Studio in Limerick City. This was part of a full EP that the band recorded at this time, a rarity which is now highly sought after. Enjoy!!
