After floods caused by Hurricane Irene ravaged Derek's childhood hometown of Schoharie, NY, he wrote this song to raise funds and raise awareness for the victims. Derek's music has always been about ministering to people, and though this song has broad appeal, it was written specifically to friends and family caught in the tragedy.
