Michelle has been singing since the age of six. She started singing in the church and in school. She sang in various talent shows and was in a group called "The Madrigals". She also traveled singing gospel music. She has received awards for solist and duet. She also has performed in the musical "The Sound of Music" and "The Music Man". She signed a recording contract with KMA records and has been traveling and singing at events sponsored by KMA. She sings modern country music. If you like Martina McBride, Faith Hill, Shania Twain, and Leann Rimes you will enjoy Michelle's music. She received the Modern Female Country Vocalist of the year award from the TCMA in April 2004. This cd is Michelle's debut album as a country artist and it is simply titled "Michelle Knight".

Michelle was awarded 2005 Silver Elite Female Vocalist of the Year with the TCMA.
