I've sang in a rock band (pardon my striptease) for almost 4 years now. During that time i've written many songs that are too "girly" to perform with PMS. I couldnt let these songs go, so I decided to create this solo album! It was a great way for me to escape, and portray my emotions from dealing with a sick daughter going through cancer treatment. Heres a bio that was written about me! Andrew Christopher is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician born and raised in small town Agassiz, BC. Currently living in the Lower Mainland, his music is acoustically based with a blend of Folk, Country and Pop Rock. Andrew has recently been signed to EvoyMG (NY, London, Vancouver) and is preparing to release his first solo album 'Gone' in late November 2012. Music has always been a huge part of Andrew's life, b­ut it wasn't till a trip to Australia in 2008 where he spent the year busking his way around the country, that he realized his true passion for music. He later returned home to join Pardon My Striptease in 2009. His first gig with the band happened to be at Carnegi Hall in New York. He has been invited to share the stage and sing hit songs with the likes of Mike Reno from Lover Boy, and State of Shock. It was with PMS that he wrote the song Pray (for LJ), which the band released in December of 2011. It became the #1 most downloaded song in Canada. Also making it to the top 20 on Canada's billboard charts and raised $110,000 for BC Children's Hospital, where his daughter has spent endless hours battling cancer. His repertoire has been described as a truly eclectic mix of contemporary songs ranging from Tim McGraw to Eminem. His original songs have heavy emphasis on lyrics and the guitar accompaniment is perfectly married with the tranquillity of his voice. His energetic and often humorous lives shows, along with a Rock 'n' Roll attitude intrigues fans to stick around after just one listen. His charm and sincerity in person, has kept them coming back for more.
