Pretty Mhlongo is a born again child of God. She got born again in the year 1999. Pretty started singing at the age of 10. Pretty was singing with her family and in a school choir, she got several trophies for a solo performances during her schooling days for choral music. Pretty started her music career when she was serving in Church on the hill, where she got experience and being part of the worship team that recorded live. She was also part of the youth choir that was called TRIBE OF PRAISE where she was leading number of songs and the hit song titled "Mina Ngihlanziwe" (also recorded in her Bridal Worship Project 1). She also had an opportunity of staging with Benjamin Dube, Ntokozo Mbambo, Joyous Celebration, Mhlongo action and Kirk Franklin in Limpopo 2007 She got married to Selby Mhlongo; who is also a worshiper, songwriter and Music Director. Her husband is the producer and directing her Music. Selby Mhlongo has sported and identified an anointed talent on her then he decided to take it further. PrettyMhlongo is staying in Nelspruit with her family and blessed with 2 beautiful girls (Aaliyah and Khanya) and handsome son (Khaya). Pretty released her solo album for 2011 the title is ‘Imvuselelo the Bridal Worship', under the upcoming Music company STE MUSIC. She won the 1st Award of Woman of worth, the category of Sport, Arts and Culture in Mpumalanga Province on the 26th August 2011. She also achieved another award on the same Album called MGOMA. She won the category of Best Female Artist in the Province. Pretty Mhlongo and Selby started and invested on the TV show that is hosted by Pretty Mhlongo. The show is called BRIDAL WORSHIP TV SHOW which refers the church as the bride.
