Combining the vast ambience of space with the finite rhythmic groove that is humanity, VK Beta shows a blatant yet refreshing disregard for genre. Hints of synth pop, progressive rock and jazz fusion swirl about the album coming to rest on electronic funk beats heavy on the bass which then fade back into the calm of space.

Among the Moons is a concept album with two intertwining concepts. The first concept involves a decade long desire to combine progressive rock with funk in an attempt to energize both genres. The second concept is a vision of the distant future in which humanity has colonized the outer solar system. These two concepts come together to transport the album from the rings of Saturn to the moons of Jupiter and back again.
