After many years of performing and teaching, jazz guitarist Pat Moore delivers his first album. Solo guitar is exactly what it says...just guitar, no overdubs. Pat has a unique style that enables him to play bass, chords and melody simultaneously. His interpretation of these 11 songs is unique...and challenging to play! Some of the hymns such as Leaning on the Everlasting Arms, In the Garden, and 'Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus begin slower, but have a middle section that has more of an easy swing feel. A careful consideration when arranging the hymns was to keep the integrity of the hymn intact, allowing the listener to sing along or just listen and worship.
