ABOUT THE ALBUM After spending so much time teaching and composing for orchestra, I felt it was time to dig in to things a bit closer to my heart: loud guitar, electronic music, video games and science fiction. Tüchtigkeit (the German word for efficiency) was created not only to satiate my thirst of wanting to hear what solo, industrial-ish, guitar music sounded like, but to also assist in bridging the gap between rock/metal and the goth/rivet/industrial crowds, by making an album which was enjoyable in a variety of ways (i.e.: listening, rocking out, dancing and guitar solo appreciation). At the very least, I sincerely hope you have a fun time listening to Tüchtigkeit, as I had a blast recording it! This album features my beloved Schecter A-7+ guitar in its premier role as all of the guitar parts recorded for this album.
