The rich musical heritage of the Swannanoa Valley comes to life through exciting Appalachian folk songs and narrations that tell the story of the Western North Carolina community. Local artists, musicians, songwriters and storytellers come together to preserve the artistic treasures found in the valley and share their gifts with their neighbors. Produced by a small group of Montreat College students, In the Land of the Sky has highlighted the musical roots of the community and has captured the attention of music lovers around the Western North Carolina mountains.
