“Inversões” (inversions) is the new album by Gean Ramos, the work represents a big swap of places and looks, where he arises as spokesman for each theme addressed in the album. The singer came out totally from your place of comfort and was exploring various themes and rhythms that were always present in his universe. Sought in his essence, stories of his family and his people, just discovering that in addition to the beauty of music, there were stories of life, of nature, of resilience, of defeats, achievements, of war and peace. Gean always felt the music in a different way, was the choice to say what he thought. Without securing the obligation to make an album of a single style, Gean and producer Ronaldo Lima were choosing the songs from the thrill to hear them and of the intention of the lyrics, there are eleven songs that build this beautiful work. The song "Inversions" is the fusion of the Baião with coco Tebei (dance practiced in the sertão ( dry area) of Pernambuco State in Northeast of Brazil, characterized by stepping heavily, originated in the practice of soft clay for construction of “taipa” house.) It's a hopeful invitation that people reflect on their actions, what are we accepting that Governments and industries make our stories with our memories in a reflection on the environment and the riverside communities of the country. The songs " A Proposta” (the proposal), "Condição” (condition) and "Confissão” (Confession) were produced in Paraíba ( Northeast of Brazil) with Sergio Gallo and written the string quintet of Paraíba, are two waltzes and a ballad with similar themes but each one in his universe. They are poems of native poet Climério Lima set to music by singer. “Legado” (Legacy) is a beautiful mix of samba and baião, which reaffirms the relation of Gean with the samba, is a tribute to the history of your great-grandfather and grandmother who had direct connection with Africa. It is also a reflection of the stories that his father told him, as his great-grandfather turned nights singing and dancing coco on top of the clay to build houses in their community. Africa's Soul is very danceable, has a rhythm influenced by gumbê, a simple harmony and melody rich. Marks an important moment in the life of Gean which is the discovery and encounter with their roots. “Induvidada” is a baião, with a typical northeast poetry of Climério Lima, is a beautiful Declaration of love. “September in me”(Setembro em mim) is a sweet music that recalls the conversations of Gean with his mother in search of wanting to know how things were in his time, is a throwback, a visit to ancient places and the old ways of saying "I love you" Via Crucis is a real fact-based toré Gean witnessed a sad hunger story which some say does not exist anymore, it's a great mix of feelings in one music has the complaint, the feeling of helplessness, pain by peoples pain. The initial chant is a Pankararu poetry with the Buzios( small shells) and dance of the Tronco group, the female voice is Ana Luiza, a natural Pankararu ( Brazilian native indian) talent. “o que importa é ser feliz” (What really matters is being happy) is a strong ballad with a happy arrangement for sure will make people feel better to hear it. “Ciranda da Paz” (Peace Ciranda Dance) talks about the value of the land, the Union of the forces of reconstruction. It is a partnership of Gean with Marcia Lima and Maria José Lima. In this song the nieces of the singer Ana Julia and Samara Ramos made the children's vocal and Ana Luiza and Camila Yasmine adult vocals.
