Blang Records is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a compilation release of music by its artists. This sensational sampler consists of 18 tracks by different Blang artists including Thomas Truax, Thee Cee Cees, Milk Kan and David Cronenberg's Wife. Blang records began in 2005 with a compilation release entitled Fruit Machine where musicians who had performed at the monthly Blang live music night at the 12 Bar Club on Denmark Street, London submitted demos of their own music to host and Blang founder Joe Murphy of Sergeant Buzfuz. This special 10th anniversary release entitled Lucky Dip celebrates the music of the artists who went on to release records with Blang between 2005 and 2015. The album is a respectful nod to the Pillows and Prayers compilation released by Cherry Red Records in 1982.
