Masa and the Crystal Penguins are a band formed in Slovenia in 2011. During the course of 2012 they recorded their debut album "Wonders". Featuring the striking vocals of Masa , they produce catchy pop songs sprinkled with everything from modern synthesizers to classical arrangements. The title track of their album "Wonders" features a special guest appearance from Slovenian superstar Neisha on piano and is certainly one of the many highlights of the album. Masa and the Crystal Penguins have released 2 singles in their own country so far and they have done quite well so far. This album sees all their songs in English only on Disc One, while Disc Two contains Slovene versions of the songs. The songs were all written by band founder Brad Eve, who was born and raised in Australia until moving to Slovenia 16 years ago. Lenka Vrhunec provided the lyrics for the Slovene versions. The band is currently recording their 2nd album and sincerely hope you enjoy listening to their first.
