Our duo is unusual because of the way our arrangements feature trumpet and flugelhorn in addition to the usual tools of the singer/songwriter, vocals and guitar. We blend different styles and backgrounds; I come from a classical/jazz background, Mike comes from a rock and roll background. The combination creates a refreshing take on standard genres. We are joined by several highly accomplished jazz and nashville players, who combine in surprising ways.
