Paul Lowe Jr., is a Connecticut native, singer, songwriter, saxophonist, producer, composer, music engineer and entrepreneur. Having worked on music for over a decade, Lowe is no stranger to the industry. In addition to the saxophone, Paul can play 6 other instruments and is quadrilingual. Paul has experience in several genres of music, his talents are transcendent. His group "i95" smoothly blends Rock, Neo-Soul, Zouk and Hip-Hop into one energetic and harmonious performance. P. Lowe has been compared to artist Ryan Leslie (attending Harvard University as well) and has a global interest that landed him two national tours and three international tours in Cape Verde. During his 1st tour, P. Lowe was a member of D. Lopes’ “Energy” group. The Energy group was nominated for two Cape Verde Music Awards, “Best Hip-Hop Song” and “Best Artist on Stage”. The Energy group left Cape Verde with “Best Artist on Stage” award P. Lowe has performed on BET’s 106 & Park and at SOB’s in New York City. He’s built a name by performing with notable artists including Wale, LL Cool J, Ludacris, Slim of 112, Nikki Jean and Irving Washington of the 90’s R&B Group Portrait. In September 2011, Clef Masters Music Group & ChristMirr Enterprise released P. Lowe’s first solo single, “Sodade D Bo” featuring Chachi Carvalho. “Sodade D Bo” is a combination of Zouk (Afro-Creole style of music originating in Brazil and French West Indies), R&B & Hip-Hop. “Sodade D Bo” peaked at #1 in Cabo Verde and the video has aired on television stations RTP Africa, FTZ, TCV and STV. Sodade D Bo remix is featured in Motafied Beatz (renowned production team based in Rotterdam, Holland) “Motafied Beatz vs. GhettoZouk” mixtape. P. Lowe toured with Afrika Rainbow in Cabo Verde in Summer of 2012 and successfully completed his 4th international tour at Kizomba Swimming Festival in Paris, France. P. Lowe 1st solo album self titled “P. Lowe” was officially released Summer 2012 that feature singles “Sodade D Bo” and “Misses Tarada” featuring Elji also known as Elji Beatz Killa along with other Alternative Rock, Jazz and R&B/Hip-Hop sounds. In addition to his growing international fan base and occasional performances in New York City, he has captured the crowds in the areas such as West Coast, Boston, Miami, D.C., and Philadelphia where he performed at GrassROOTS Foundation’s benefit charity launch co-founded by Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter of The Roots. P. Lowe’s YouTube channel has almost half-million views. P. Lowe is now currently signed under music labels Isis Records of New England and DK Entertainment of Paris, France as a recording artist, producer and songwriter. His first single under the music labels is expected to be released in March of 2013.
