简介
"I'mma do me and thats all that really matters, I'mma keep burnin' up like a box of matches" - Corbin Corona Restless since the age of 8 growing up in a suburb of Dallas, Texas, Corbin was always following his heart & chasing his dreams. Knowing even at his youth that he could accomplish whatever he set his mind to & he proved this when the opportunity to go to Los Angeles arose. In 5 years he booked numerous pilots, commercials, feature films & by age 13 Corbin was on the tonight show sitting right next to Jay Leno. He knew he had a destiny & didn't expect anything less than rigorous endeavors towards achieving what goals he sought after in life. Young Corona had grown up with a verbally abusive alcoholic father. His mother & he would experience this evilness routinely. An extremely pivotal moment in his life which would forever change him as he discovered the influence of street smarts from other role models who he saw as father figures growing up. Corbin recalls of how around that time he always found a freedom of self expression in Hip Hop music & the culture that was so quickly exploding in the South & around him. At 18 , as he says , music truly found him. Corbin relocated back to LA where he found the resources in the music scene to expand his producing talent. Rappers and top producers began to gravitate towards him naturally because of his fresh energy fueled by that relentless burning of self expression. That burning energy of a new generation. Corbin recalls of how rappers Juicy J, Crunchy Black & other 3/6 Mafia members took note of his unique crazy individuality when he was just 13 living in the Oakwood Apartments constantly hanging around them while they were filming their movie Choices II. When 19 Corbins close friend Deno introduced him to Ensayne Wayne, older brother of heavy hitter producer Dumma Boy. Just like Ensayne had taken Drumma under his wing & helped him grow from a seed into a tree, Ensayne found himself yet again becoming a mentor & teacher to another destined soul by the name of Corbin Corona. By the age of 20, the box of matches was on fire, Corbin was A1 on his production. With the help of his friend/entrepreneur John Allen & close friend rap artist Reggie Gray, Corbin was getting chances to record & brush shoulders with Young Jeezy, while also receiving features from Cam'ron, Future, Chamillionaire & multiple other artists. Corbin then moved to Miami, Florida in early 2013 collaborating with Miami producer Onasis on a track for YMCMB artist Veronica V. Corbin was honored to work & have such a brother sister relationship with Veronica. Corbin says he will always be extremely indebted to Veronica for the fact she later set up the introduction to meet Slim, owner of Cash Money Records, & yet another opportunity of a lifetime as if brought by divine intervention into the life of young Corona. Corbin was on the grind after Slim suggested submitting tracks for Austin Mahone a new YMCMB Artist. Dreams were all but coming true in the life of an ambitious, motivated & gifted star. However in mid 2013 Corbin's off & on drug trafficking escapades stretching back as far as to when he was 16, officials say, had finally caught up with him. He was indicted on charges of conspiracy to distribute over 100 kilograms. "Texas Super Lawyers" Fitzpatrick, Hagood, Smith & Uhl represented Corona as defendant. Though not completely off scott free, & still sentenced under the new 2- point Federal Drug reduction law, Corbin was sentenced to serve a minimum time. Corbin says, "I believe everything happens for a reason & theres no such things as coincidences. I learned a lot from that experience & gained priceless knowledge. At the end of the day it's just another chapter added into the crazy chronicles of my life story book." Now at 26, free & fueling more determination than ever Corbin is becoming the sought-after producer & artist who creates new entrancing worlds with his impeccable sound. A poetic street writer & producer mixing layers of global musical influence from his journeys through life. Corbin has a unique sound quality inspired from his volunteer trips across the world during the past three years. Traveling alone & on a leap of faith first to a township in Africa where he would help orphans & teach children at a local school. Then to a Monastery in Loas where he lived with monks teaching disadvantaged kids. & finally a village by the name of Silana on the coast of Fiji where he would help teach the primary children & spread his off-the-wall energy to later be named after the village by the chiefs which no honor could compare. I always would live for at least 2 months wherever I went so I could fully embrace the culture & believe me a made an impact everywhere I went, says Corbin. Corbin Corona, now all grown up with eyes scorched of wisdom, power & purpose. Personal experiences of life, some for better & some for worse, carved to create the man before you today. Striving towards that burning rising voice of a generation - it's now his time, more than ever, to do him. His untainted moral attributes of leadership, humbleness, positivity, focus, determination, loyalty, honor, respect, repetition & perseverance is what makes him a force to be reckoned with. Corbin's music along with an equally driven & hungry artist will undoubtedly result in a smashing success! This June, 2015, will spark the release of his debut single "Make You Understand" off the self titled album - "Apriori Annunaki" featuring guest artists Future, Reggie G, Fernando Ribeiro & Pimp C. The album was entirely self written, musically composed & produced by Corbin himself. We look forward to hearing "Apriori Annunaki" pumping out of speakers soon near you!
