Like most of what we hear from Darien Fields, Classy Tuesday tells a story. This time the setting is a fancy cocktail party. The dynamic tale of young unrequited love is accentuated by the number of features on the album. Though he is the main character in the story, Darien frequently shares the stage throughout these 10 songs (which is more than he has ever released on one project). There are four featured vocalists and three featured instrumentalists. This is a new approach for the DIY singer/songwriter/producer, and it just might be the reason this is his most complete and cohesive project to date.
