Jaz Kaiwiko’o (Jason Yglesias) is a Hawaii Based producer, singer, rapper, songwriter that made his start as a Hip Hop Dj in 1983 in San Francisco, California. Growing up around a musical family, Jaz eventually taught himself to play Drums & Keyboards listening to old funk records . 30 years later Jaz combines his musical taste with an approach of a DJ live at the club, creating emotion & movement in the music as a Dj would do by “Beat Juggling”. Jaz is credited for being the first Filipino / Polynesian to be on wax as a rapper in the 80’s (then known as Jay love). Aside from his production work in Neosoul & Rap, Jaz is an award winning Hawaiian Music Producer.
