Treasures Old and New” is one of the purest recordings that Carroll has done over the years. It contains several old, treasured songs that have been around for decades, plus, many new, original songs that Carroll wrote especially for this project. This CD was recorded without background vocals for a more simple and pure sound. The first single release to national radio is one of Carroll’s original songs, “A Simple Man.” The recording was made at TMC Studio in Hendersonville, Tn., and was produced by Carroll. His wife Donna is featured on one of the old songs, “What a Friend,” and helps with some harmony lines on selected songs. This unique CD has the potential to reach a wide range audience.
