And back we are with a new release on Upon.You Digital - this time exploring the magic that comes with a look into a „Black Mirror“, musically transcribed into two atmospheric TechHouse tracks by the Italian duo Bumppo & OniWax whose productions have been causing quite a bit of dancefloor havoc throughout the past months when tested on a regular Upon.You's A&R and creative head Marco Resmann. The title track „Black Mirror“ starts out on a decent, slightly dark'ish level and caters quite a tense atmosphere before ever building layers of a complex, crystalline synth structure take us into a dream-like, trance-inducing state of mind, drifting along the dissolving edges of a multidimensional space-time-continuum. Listening to the second track on this release we're pretty sure that not „All Was S.H.I.T.“, although the tunes' title might suggest the opposite. Setting dancefloors in motion with a seductive fusion of stripped down beats and warped, ever morphing bass frequencies, accompanied by spirallling, climaxing synths leading into an enchanted, mysterious breakdown perfect for open air late night / early morning sessions hidden somewhere deep in the woods or taking place on lost mediterranean islands, Bumppo & OniWax cater a unique and fascinating production effort with this one which will surely sit in a lot of DJ's crates for more than just one season.
