When Rock became focused through deep riffs and a dominant voice the sound of Sovern was established. Sovern is a Rock Band formed in Sacramento, California in January 2010. Sovern comes from the word “sovereign” meaning power over all or greatest in status or authority. With Rock being so melodic but yet strong, we felt the name spoke for who we are and what we are about. If you listen hard enough you will hear many influences streaming from the old to current rock groups, from alternative to rock, and all the roads between. With many different influences brought together we create one unique sound with every aspect shining. We have learned to harness and capture that sound as a group to create a unique quality. We are driven and dedicated to bring what we have to open ears. Music is our lives and who we are, we intend to rock!
