Nikkole’s song, ’’Beautiful Colors’’ from her debut album, ’’Appearances’’ was selected for a television and radio ad campaign for Mattress Firm, the largest mattress retailer in the United States.

Nikkole's debut cd entitled Appearances features a voice that is convincing and mature far beyond its years and poetry pared to the bone. Her words and their delivery have a confessional quality and the music is lovely, dramatic and very affected by its subject matter. This cd blends infectious grooves with memorable pop choruses. On songs like "Over It" and "Appearances" there is a glow of dark enraged twists; others like "Hangin' By A Tattered Thread"," Funky Alright" and "Beautiful Colors" drive with smiling, more Pop qualities. An appealing, picture perfect mix of Alternative and Pop sounds are found on Appearances. On this project, Nikkole has been compared to artists like Sheryl Crow, Pink and Lenny Kravitz.
