Jenavive is a self-titled Canadian indie rock band from Calgary that formed in 2010. The group consists of lead vocalist, songwriter and keyboardist Jenavive Smith, bassist and co-producer Brett Elliot, guitarist Reggie Smith, and drummer Anthony Speelman. Their wide background of musical tastes has influenced their live and studio sound. Their signature style is sweet yet powerful vocals over a backdrop of genre-blending, pop culture inspired indie rock. Jenavive has two studio releases, and is currently working on a self produced concept album, primarily written and recorded at Dalhart Studios; Smith’s Calgary, Alberta home.
