The Southern Romance was born from the necessity of a father helping his sons. In 2014, Dr. Clark's youngest son was diagnosed with end-stage renal failure requiring a kidney transplant to survive. Dr. Clark, an ASCAP affiliated songwriter, started Southern Romance Publishing, LLC to help raise money to fund his son's COTA (Children's Organ Transplant Account) medical account. This account was established to help pay for the medical bills associated with his diagnosis and treatment. The Southern Romance is a collaboration of some of Charleston, South Carolina's finest songwriters, musicians, and vocalist. We hope you enjoy our songs!!
