Amy Christianna Blake and Olivier Augé-Laribé have established themselves as one of the leading duos of lieder and mélodie concerts on the international scene. This disc is a live recording of their concert in the village church of Saint Blaise, France on October 25, 2014.

Take a journey through time, following the inspiration of Franz Liszt who made an immense impression on his contemporaries and on all future composers. Amy and Olivier share lieder by the master himself, including the timeless "Oh! quand je dors" (Oh! When I dream) and then present lieder by Erich Korngold, a twentieth century romantic. Then they share four mélodies by Gabriel Fauré, rich in color and harmony. The evening's program finishes with the eternal Romantic Richard Strauss and his elevated lieder.
