Olivier is a singer/songwriter from Washington D.C. hailing from the crew of Kev Brown (producer for pop star Jewel, hip hop legend DJ Jazzy Jeff and soul singer Eric Robberson). His vocals are sexy and warm, sometimes adding a psychotic flavour but always on point! His lyrical flow is outstanding and his melodies and harmonies are out of this world. OlivierDaySoul is currently working on his debut album with the 4lux crew. But first up is his wicked debut 12inch called Soul4U Soul4U is a mighty soul tune, combining sultry vocals with lush beats and synths. The music is produced by beatmaker and hip hop artists Oddisee. Oddissee produced beats for Talib Kweli, Little brother, DJ Jazzy Jeff, J-Live, etc. and released his own music through Half Tooth records. Bump it is a boom-bap headnodder with craaaazy vocals. The wobbly bass creates a futuristic flow and the bridge makes the girls shakin their booties fa sho! The beat was produced by Unknown who produced for the USA rap sextet Nappy Roots. Spaceship was produced by Planet Mohawk and basically tells a story about abducting a beautiful earth lady and taking her into space. The music and overall feel of this song is very electric and quite mind blowing. Last but not least we give you Dance which obviously is a perfect tune to dance to.
