Laura Silverstein is an acoustic fingerstyle guitarist with a great passion for the emotional power of instrumental music. Her repertoire includes many styles, including ragtime, blues, slack-key, folk, Travis-Style, John Fahey, Doc Watson, as well as many originals. Laura performs solo acoustic fingerstyle guitar at coffee houses and bookstores in the Southern California area. Laura also plays banjo and guitar in the bluegrass band, High Hills, which has headlined at numerous festivals and events around Southern California, including opening for the Dixie Chicks and playing a pre-show for Ricky Skaggs.
