Ripsnorter continues down the punk rock a roll path blazed with "Infected" and "Critical Masses", and with it comes a new EP: "Lip Service/Rippu Saabisu リップサービス". Heavy on the rock this time, this release takes a slight detour to add a touch of harder O.C. Punk to the title track, and a blast from the bands hardcore past with adding some d-beat euro-hardcore punk personality to the classic Billy Idol "Rebel Yell". These are a few of the last tracks recorded at the Ripsnorter Compound before lead singer/guitarist/songwriter Jme relocated. The rest of the band remains in Minneapolis and the they now record remotely. Jay helms the Ripsnorter Compound Central and Jme the Ripsnorter Compound and Resort in Florida. There is a unique physical version of Lip Service that is out in the wild - a limited edition 7" EP available in white, clear and black lathed polycarbonate. There are only 25 hand-numbered copies that exist. There is much more to come, so enjoy this EP in the meantime. Cheers :)
