Western Colorado is a land of extremes: extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme politics, extreme sports, and home of one of the state's longest running extreme metal acts, EXUSSUM. The band has a rich history of controversy, line up changes, and progression. Never being content to just settle for mediocracy, the band led by mastermind Andreas Hollstein, has been a consistent example of what extreme metal can be when handled by expert craftsmen.

False God Evolution is the culmination of over a decade of work. What lies ahead for this legendary band remains to be seen, but if this album is a sign of things to come, then Exussum will soon be regarded as one of the elite bands in the genre.
