D The Business is a multi-talented rapper, actor & entrepreneur from Houston, TX by way of Mo City (Missouri City, TX) bringing in fresh new waves of music. Born into a family of music he watched his big cousin Master P turn a small label into the powerhouse No Limit Records. D The Business formally known as Lil D became part of that Dynasty when he signed to No Limit at the age of 10 with his cousin Romeo Miller (Lil Romeo), embarking on tours across the globe, features on platinum selling albums, major videos, interviews, live performances and movies which were televised in primetime on networks like BET, MTV, and VH1 just to name few. But behind the scenes D The Business is no stranger to struggle and through most of his teen years when he wasn't in school playing basketball he was heavily involved in the various forms of street life in Texas. Even still, he always knew he had a greater purpose and though being broke and not being able to afford a meal to eat at times, having close friends get countless years in prison and peers not live to see 21, faith in God assured him that with belief, hard work, dedication, and resilience, you can not only succeed, but you can also build generational wealth and achieve any goals imaginable. Witnessing first hand hood life and the life of the rich and famous gives D The Business a unique unboxed contrast to his music. Years later and now running his own label L.I.E. (Loyalty Is Everything) Entertainment along side his big brother Black Don, he’s taken that same rap hustle he learned from his cousin Master P back to his hometown of Houston (H-Town) and has built an significant underground buzz following the release of his 2012 street single "We So Bout It ft. Black Don, Master P & Lil Wayne" off of his From Sidelines To Headlines mixtape released in 2013. The video for that song hit about 400,000 views on YouTube with no major commercial promotion!
