Their roots take them back to Omaha which is why it was chosen for the name of their latest album. The album displays the songwriting talents of all the bands members and contains two additional unreleased recording written by the late Tommy Bolin. This production represents several years of work in recording studios in Omaha, DC and Chicago. The roots run deep, The "Crossing" began its journey over the last three decades. High School seniors from West Omaha Tom, Tim and Scott have based their groove on a spirit of friendship and musical collaboration People ask what genra their sound represents, the normal answer goes something like .Acoustic Rock, Country, Folk with a few measures of Chicago Blues and some Jazz infusion. Talk about a long strange trip, fast forward to 2010 and over ten different recording studios in six different states including the DC area, Chicago and Nebraska now you have a picture of what went into their new release "Omaha" the boys are getting back to their roots. They have moved across the country over the years, but always managed to pull things together traveling between cities and playing out in different clubs and locking themselves in recording studios. Pioneering the internet they set up an early website with digital audio sample downloads. A tale from early on in their musical adventure has to do with Tom kidnapping Tim who was not the most willing participant, throwing his stuff and their guitars in the back of his car. Driving through the night from Omaha to Chicago to meet up with Scott for their first recording studio session. The rest is history.
