简介

The hit album Black in the Black is given Extended Play with a remix emergency from Domino Grey. The popular song “My Heart Never Skips a Beat” is addressed by Dr Grey and Dynamics Plus. After the frenetic opening, Domino settles in and focuses on the haunting voice of talented singer and producer – DJ MIKI. Her voice becomes the centerpiece for the first Back in the Black after-mix release. Two new tracks round out the package. “Faint Murmurings and Light Musings” and “Errors and Eros, Paths and Pathos” are sure to sink you into the blue of a beating, bleating heartbeat. _____________________ REVIEWS for the Black in the Black- full length album Follow: by Samis ! It's seldom that you can earnestly describe an album experience as indefinable. Attempts to do so are often typecast as hype, but Back In the Black may just perhaps exist in a space beyond description. Like its predecessor this release is heavily populated with familiar grooves from a wide array of genres (Ballad, Break Beat, Dance, Drum and Bass, House, Experimental, Minimal, Opera, Orchestral, Pop, RnB, etc), but as customary with all things Domino Grey you can expect unique interpretation and adaptation to these respective labels. The sophomore release also welcomes a talented roster of female vocalist and musicians which add new dimensions to this project in comparison with the debut. From the opening track you immediately feel the impact of their presence and this continues throughout. Every sound is effortlessly covered and flipped in a fashion I can honestly say I've never heard before. This album is an audible paradox between commercial and experimental. If you're jaded with the current state of music I strongly recommend purchasing this album. Best observed with quality headphones or monitors! ________________ by GLCNY My first intro to Domino Grey was “Get it Up, Lay it Down” which I listened to non-stop for weeks. Each of those songs had a different feel and they were all pretty much impossible to really categorize. This new album, “Back in the Black” is still hard to classify, but even easier to love. My favorites are probably ‘I Ain‘t Mad at You‘ it‘s soulful, a little sad, but optimistic; ‘Put your headphones on’, which always gets me to sing along and ‘You’re My Addiction’--that one’s been stuck in my head since I first heard it.
