"You Choose" is the studio follow-up to the well-reviewed "I'm Talking To You" first effort by Hard Rock/Metal Rockers, Messenger. They have advanced in their artistry and skills by listening to A&R feedback and fan input to bring more modern guitar riffs, melodies, lyrics and vocals. Initial response has been positive: In an HM Mag story, Steve Rowe says, “(You Choose) is ‘a HUGE leap ahead from the band’s debut "I'm Talking To You" in both song writing and production!” (Rowe Productions) Messenger has grown as a band and found their footing with this album - concerning who they are and what musical direction they want to take. That has made for solid concepts of rhythms, beats, sounds and lyrical courage. Messenger has challenged themselves too. There are guitar ideas Vlad brings to this project that aren't even approached in the latest modern hard rock and metal. Co-producers Vlad Gurin and Frank Herring shared the idea of the new concept with him and Paris brought it to reality. Vlad was also the main capture engineer at Studio Vovka in Springfield, VA.
