I recorded these songs in the venerable acoustic singer/song writer tradition with mainly just voice and guitar, adding embellishment only when the song called for it. All the styles that you'll hear on this CD come under the purview of Americana, stolen and borrowed from: country blues, bluegrass, Cajun, Tex-Mex, jump swing , folk, and country. I've tried to stay true to the idea that a good song can stand on its own, so here they are...simple tales of life and love, honest stories served straight up.
