Music and songs, the mental, emotional, spiritual and physucal manifestations of a human being's life time capsule. The presence and essence of our life stories, being sung through visions and beliefs that are sometimes contrary to our own. Melodies and harmonies that evoke periods in our lives when we recall our first crushes, or when we rebelled of conditions that we felt were detrimental to us. Topics of situations we all encounter but are too afriad to share. Be that as it may, very few musicians become a part of our life's fabric. We walk, talk, dress and sometimes act like them. In an era where we're losing some of our great musicians, such as Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Donna Summer; just to name a few. Concerned people are asking "Will music, as we once knew it, return to its original prowess"? When lyrical and musical compositions uplifted our communities, praised our women and educated us. Brothers Larry aka "Zipp-Luvv" & Fred aka "Baddest-Dee" collectively known as DeZishun, pronounced Decision; have emerged from the urban streets of Essex County vowing to return R&B to its proper landscape. " It's an uphill journey that we've been climbing for an extensive period of time" states Zipp-Luvv the younger of the two. "However, It's our responsibility as musicians to invigorate, educate and stimulate the minds, souls and spirits of our young ones, subliminally guiding them through the constant struggles of life like Bob Marley and Marvin Gaye did for us when we were younger". Baddest-Dee concludes by adding "As uplifting as the Bible is, not everyone relishes the commitment to read the great stories that are referenced. It's our aspiration to reach the masses and deliver examples of some of those great stories through our music. Every soul relates to rythm, vibes, melodies, harmonies and lyrics of music so we indeed embrace the challenges of bringing R&B music back to its proper platform through our music". The place is here and the time is now for DeZishun to contribute to their life long passion and love for music. It's their desire and intention to generate positive energy through their music songs and live performances. They are confident that they will make nonbelievers believers. From their adolecent years in Monrovia, Liberia to their high school years at Calvin Coolidge High School in Washington DC and also as undergrads at Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic, CT; music has always been the flame and vessel that has appropriateley introduced them to the world. It's only fitting that they contribute back to her for all the joy that she's brought to their lives. They will adress issues that most artists and musicians circumvent. It's their long term objective to steer their company Dee Zee Enterprise Inc. in the same direction that Barry Gordy and Smokey Robinson carried their beloved record company Motown Records. DeZishun, ultimately, wish to establish and perpetuate a musical legacy that will transform the fundamentals of music as it is interpreted today. Join them at Dee Zee Enterprise Inc. as they journey through the present times and allow for them to be heard and judged because they consequently accept the price and results of adding their portion to music.
