Den Bosch based techno duo, Funz Young derived from a collaboration between Funs Nollen and Tim Young. Besides their residency at the dutch Non-Stop Collectief, they are thriving to create strong techno productions with a signature sound. Twidl Records present release is a five track debut EP from Funz Young. It includes two orginal tracks and three remixes by SynnyS, Gixxer and Dolan. Funz Young produced its first well crafted EP with inspiration from the intimate techno parties they host with the dutch Non-Stop Collectief. As the first rumbling synth sounds of Discard start to build the track, it finds itself evolving in the deep, as the night closes in. A perfect track for a darker mood on the dancefloor. The Roermond based DJ/producer Dolan brings you a well constructed dub version of the original track. He managed to capture the dark essence of the orgininal track and made the mix more of a suprise to the listener. Conjugate gives you a uplifting vibe after the dark mood of Discard. Thick layers of filtered synths give the track a warm and energetic atmosphere. From there it evolves into a deeper space when the sounds of the appergiated synth build up during a big breakdown.
