专辑简介

This CD was recorded on April8, 2013 during one of Guillermo Bazzola's trips to the United States from his home in Madrid, Spain. Although he is a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, we met many years ago during one of my many trips to Spain to play and teach. He was always very gracious to me and helped secure performances and teaching engagements during my European tours. We had started to record a duo CD in Madrid a few years ago but never had enough contact time to complete the project. Therefore, when he decided to come to Ithaca, New York to visit, I scheduled three concerts and this recording session during the week or so he was here. One of the things I enjoy musically is to play with many different musicians, because other players bring new musical and learning experiences to the table each time we play. Steve Brown
