Back in 2015 after working together on a previous record guitarist Steve Mitchell and drummer/ producer Michael Sciotto decided to once again collaborate on a new project .The album would feature all new material written by Steve and would end up consisting of 10 tracks at it's completion in late April 2017. The album features more than one style of material."I'd bring a track in and if we felt it was good enough we worked it up and it made the album simple as that. The genre didn't matter" said Steve.

One of those examples is the last track on the album entitled Into the Valley which made the album by chance. " Mike heard me playing a riff on an acoustic tuned to Nashville tuning in the main room and asked what it was. I told him I had no idea. He hit the record button and took it having no idea where it was going to go. It just went. He later went on to add strings and percussion and there it was. Out nowhere and totally on the fly." This entire album is special to me but that one last track epitomizes what it's really all about.

It's one thing to play it. It's another to feel it .
