Music has always been my passion and keeps me growing as a artist and a person. I've never been the most talkative person; Singing and piano have been ways to express myself when my words couldnt. When I put my feelings down into lyrics I see a situation that I never fully understood in a different light and it all seems to make sense. Music has a great way of changing a bad feeling into a good one and hurtful words into awesome song lyrics. In a way, I dont mind being the type to hold in my feelings because it eventually comes out in a more thoughtful way than I could have ever said it in the moment. I never considered myself much of a songwriter; I actually never wrote a song before this one. But, of course, after a break up we all feel somewhat hurt and rejected. We all have so much bottled up feelings and words that we wish we would have said in the moment. The title for my first song popped into my head when I overheard my boyfriend talking bad about me one day. I had a lot I wanted to say that I never got the chance to. When arguments between me and him we're over and hurtful words were said and done, I felt like I had wasted months of my life being with him. Every hug, every kiss, every time I imagined us being together..........gone. It was just a moment in the sun.
