Mara Shea and Julie Gorka together make up Copious Notes--a fiddle and piano duo that plays for Scottish country dance, English country dance, and contra dance. Their music is lyrical and lovely when needed for waltzes, English dances, and Scottish airs; energetic and fiery for fast-moving reels and jigs, and for those beautiful, gritty Scottish strathspeys.
