Jamie is a singer and song writer. He was raised within a family which celebrated the arts, through musicianship, singing, writing, and acting. Initially Jamie identified more with behind or off stage aspects of the arts, but in 1993 he began to see and consequently express himself through lyric writing and singing. Earlier in 2006 he released his first single entitled, Forgive Me Father. It has since been played on Heaven 1580 AM (Washington, DC) and Heaven 600 AM (Baltimore, MD). He grew up outside of Annapolis, MD, and has over time been influenced by all genres of music, and many, many artists, from Al Green to Stevie Wonder, to Prince, to Bob Marley, to Sting, to Seal, to KRS-1, to Biggie and Tupac, to Jay-Z and 50, to John Legend and Kurt Franklin, to name a few. All music is real music. Jamie feels, all people are artists, and were designed to express their gifts for the benefit of others; so, he’s just doing his part.
