Born in November of 2006, Six Days is a project originally conceived by members of the River's Edge, the worship band from First Protestant Church in New Braunfels, Texas. The project came out of a desire to play worship songs that were a little different than the songs they'd been used to covering from Sunday to Sunday. After searching in vain for some newer, more interesting territory, they decided to go it alone. Having never written together or played original music as one band, the members of Six Days worked to combine all of their individual ideas into a cohesive project. With musical influences for the band members ranging from country to fusion jazz, finding middle ground was indeed an interesting endeavor. From the first song to the last, there is at least one song that will hopefully speak to you the way it was intended.
