Patchwork is a band formed to do only their own or friends material in a variety of styles. All of the members have worked in numerous bands previously covering many genres and styles of music.

Often times various members have played together in the same bands and even in rival bands.

The various members made a collective decision to explore new material having tired of performing other peoples music and decided that because of their backgounds Patchwork was an ideal name for the band and because of the varied styles Patchwork 1 was a perfect title for the debut album with more on the drawing boards.
