简介
"Sometimes you’ve got to put in your time to get it, and this group’s got it right. If you want to hear a straight up rock and roll band with classic blues, rock and country influences from the iconic 60's and 70's but served up in a way you’ve never heard before, this is your band. All of the right influences are there, but none of the worn out clichés, so don’t expect to hear rehashes of tunes gone by the wayside. This band serves up blues and country-infused rock and roll the way it should be savored. Ben Hudson’s lyrical magic, driving tunes, and voice that rivals Burdon and Morrison, drives home the poignant reflections of "Main Street" trials and tribulations and heart-gripping ballads. This is a sound fresher than you’ve ever heard before with a message you’ll relate to, and want to hear now. This band weaves a unique tapestry of psychedelic rock fused with foot-stomping roll that touches the soul. On "He’s Got Money" the band dives into the emotions born out of frustrations with economic disaster, over-indulgence, rip-offs and wall street run rampant. The album’s only cover tune, "Summertime," is arranged brilliantly in a way that gives rebirth to this old standard, graced by Hudson’s smooth vocals and guitar along with the uncanny whistling talents of Tracy Robert Johnson, and tied together with Willie Wahler's classical keyboard strings. With Tracy’s unique drums, Willie's heart pounding six-string bass riffs, Ben's soulful guitar and their rich three-part vocal harmonies, this is a great album, great band.
