Since 2006 Darien J's ever-evolving sound has taken him across Europe, from Spain to Italy and on to headline at Germany's longest running Techno club, Airport in Wurzburg. Yet he has always maintained close to his roots with regular guest appearances in London working with promotions specialists like Freitag and Sub Skank. A move into production in 2008 was marked with releases on Cubism Records and Keep On Records in Italy helping to cement Darien's reputation as one of North London's most exciting new producers. Darien now brings his bass-lead trademark sound stateside with his first U.S. release - "Born Rude" E.P. on Detox Recordings. This multifarious E.P. showcases his varied production repertoire, moving from deep to acid to minimal house, and is a testament to his continuing quest 'to get the whole room grooving as one'.
