Just Water's "Singin' In The Rain" was the first record since 96 Tears (by Question Mark & The Mysterians) to gain heavy radio play in the USA without the backing of any record company. “Singin' In The Rain” was subsequently issued on Stiff Records throughout the UK and Europe. Just Water released one of the punk era's first independent LPs, The Riff. Just Water's second LP Meet The Competition, recorded in 1978, was lost for almost 30 years, and has finally been released as part of the Downtown & Brooklyn collection. Some members of Just Water continue to record as "Mitchell Dancik & The Senators".
